Volunteering at Encore

If you have a loved one in an assisted living community, or you’d like to give back to a generation of your elders, volunteering at Encore is one of the most fulfilling ways to get engaged with those around you. We offer a host of programs that cater to the needs and wants of our residents, and we are always looking for helpful folks to lend a hand.
Some of the volunteer opportunities in our program include:
Music & Memory
As a part of our memory care program, patient-care volunteers who choose to take part in music and memory are able to offer residents the opportunity to listen to a personally curated selection of music using Encore’s provided headset and equipment. For our musically talented volunteers, playing a musical instrument or singing for our residents may be an option as well.
Outings
As an outing volunteer, you would have the opportunity to provide our memory care residents with the assistance they need during local outings to parks, restaurants, or scenic bus rides.
Administrative Volunteers
An administrative volunteer provides support in our office by helping with filing, preparing mailings, inputting data into our computers, answering phones, and assisting with projects as needed.
Additional Opportunities
We offer other ways to help our residents through means of cosmetology services, professional photography, artistic talents, and others.
